Winter Day You are so cold, You have no warmth. Short in length, Your nights are so long. Your clouds are gray, Where is the sun? Memories of butterflies, Robins flown south, The bees are gone too! Your winds howl, Trees all naked, Their leaves blow round. Why must you come, Bringing ice and snow? You make me so numb. Longing for spring, New grass and flowers, I pray for your end. Go ‘way winter day! Written by Jim Cordie, 12/27/03
